How to hide apps on iPhone
Touch and hold the app, tap Require Face ID, then choose Hide and Require Face ID. The app moves to a locked Hidden folder.

On your Home Screen, press and hold the app until its menu appears, then tap Require Face ID.

Choose to hide it
Tap Hide and Require Face ID, then confirm with Face ID. If you only want to lock the app and keep it visible, choose Require Face ID instead.

Find it again
Swipe left past your last Home Screen page to the App Library. The Hidden folder is at the very bottom and opens with Face ID.

The folder shows
The Hidden folder itself is visible, so people can tell something is hidden.
Not every app
Some built-in Apple apps can be locked but not hidden.

No. Hidden apps don't show notifications or appear in search.
