How to make Pond fill in your passwords

In iPhone Settings, go to General › AutoFill & Passwords, switch Pond on, switch the other password apps off, and choose Pond for verification codes.

  1. Start in Pond

    In Pond, go to Settings › AutoFill & Passkeys and tap Open iOS Settings. It takes you to the right page of iPhone Settings.

  2. Switch Pond on

    In AutoFill & Passwords, turn on Pond.

  3. Switch the others off

    Turn off Passwords and any other password app in the same list, so only your Pond logins are offered.

  4. Use Pond for codes

    Under Set Up Verification Codes Using, choose Pond. Two-factor QR codes you scan then go straight to Pond.

  5. Fill in a password

    Tap a username or password field in any app or website. Your login appears above the keyboard: tap it and look at your iPhone.

Good to know

New accounts save themselves

When you create an account or a passkey, iOS offers to save it in Pond, straight into Keys.

Codes fill too

A two-factor code kept with a login is offered right after the password.

Questions

Why doesn't Pond appear above the keyboard?

Check that Pond is switched on in Settings › General › AutoFill & Passwords, and turn the other password apps off, since iOS keeps offering from every one that is on.

Does it work in apps as well as Safari?

Yes. Anywhere iOS offers AutoFill: Safari, other browsers and apps.

Can Pond save passkeys?

Yes. When a site offers a passkey, choose Pond. You sign in with Face ID and there's no password to leak.
